EP 31 - Thriving in Pressure with Meg Ward

from The NXT LVL Podcast

EP 31 -Thriving in Pressure with Meg Ward Your host // Nat Hodges Our guest // Meg Ward This week the NXT LVL crew chats with Meg Ward, a local legend from Sanford who plays Women's Rugby at the highest level. Meg scored her spot on the Australian team in 2017. She also works as a firefighter in the Australian Defence Force. She grew up active - an athlete living in a close-knit community, surrounded by nature in the country - looking up to her hard-working father. Meg and her family are massive Brisbane Broncos fans, and putting on the Broncos jersey was a true dream come true for her. Over the years, she has fallen in love with the game (and process) and bestows some powerful wisdom on how we to can navigate high-pressure situations, fear, uncertainty and learning from mistakes throughout our own life endeavours. We also discuss what it was like coming out to her parents and embracing who YOU truly are and being your authentic self in this lifetime. Confidence, finding your community and going back to the WHY (family) are huge themes in Meg's life. Happy listening crew! Connect with Meg Instagram:  @mwardy3 Email: [email protected]
