Ep 31: Why I Teach My Kids To Fail With Executive Leadership Coach, Jim Harshaw, Jr.

from Resist Average Academy | Tommy Baker

Jim Harshaw, Jr. is an entrepreneur, father, former Division I athlete and executive leadership coach who runs the Wrestling With Success Podcast.   Failure, struggle and setbacks are not only an inevitable part of life but a necessary step on the path to success. Jim Harshaw has learned many life lessons on the wrestling mat. Having won three ACC Championships for the University of Virginia, trained at the Olympic Training Center and competed overseas for Team USA he has experienced significant triumph and devastating defeat. He shares those powerful lessons of failure, struggle and setback to empower his audiences to overcome their own challenges and achieve success despite their inevitable failures.   In this episode we discuss the hybrid lessons we both learned from failing in athletics, how to set process goals, becoming outcome independent, taking life less seriously and having more fun (which paradoxically leads to better results) and so much more.   If you enjoyed this episode of the Academy, we'd deeply appreciate a subscribe and review on iTunes and sharing it with your friends, you can also grab your FREE Resist Average Blueprint, a 10 page PDF designed to help you get clear and achieve unthinkable clarity and results starting today.   LISTEN HERE:   iTunes  Android Stitcher   Resist Average,   Tommy    www.ResistAverageAcademy.com
