Ep. 32 - INHABIT with Sean Pritchard

from Beyond Physio · host Next Level Physio

On today's episode, Dr. Jerry Yoo invites Sean Pritchard owner of Inhabit to discuss proper breathwork and the benefits that it provides. Tune in to learn about Sean's methodology and his goal of teaching 1 million people how to properly breathe by January 2027. A former college soccer player at Montclair State University, Sean has spent over a decade coaching soccer teams and working with clients as a personal trainer. He is passionate about helping people grow into the best version of themselves. Prior to founding his wellness company INHABIT, Sean held sales positions delivering software solutions at healthcare and education companies in San Francisco. In these fast-paced startup environments, he learned that prioritizing mental and physical health is not only essential to maintaining a balanced life but can be a competitive advantage. Sean is a certified instructor in Biofit’s Natural Fitness Method as well as a certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher from the School of Positive Transformation. He is also enrolled in Flow Motion’s CPD Certified Mobility course and has completed the Wim Hof Method Fundamentals course for breathwork and cold exposure. Sean has used The INHABIT Method to train publicly traded companies, school districts, youth sports teams, and organizations like the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee. INHABIT's methodology consists of mindfulness, breathwork, mental strategies like visualization, exercise, and other peak performance practices, all with the goal of unlocking his client's full potential. Having helped the boy's Ramsey High School soccer team secure a three-peat sectional title (2020, 2021, 2022) by integrating breathwork and meditation into practices and pre-game routines, he's focused on helping more youth coaches understand the value of this type of training. This is the largest mental health crisis our society has ever gone through. With suicide, depression, and anxiety rates on the rise among young people, he believes that now is the time that we need to make a real impact and change in sports and the education system. Sean works with people on a 1:1 basis and supports organizations across multiple disciplines through his tailored training in combination with the INHABIT app. The app brings together guided breathwork, meditations, workouts, stretching routines, simple healthy recipes, and videos on mental skills and strategies. They have a library of 70+ videos ranging from 1 min - 45 mins with new videos published weekly.
