from Talking Heads - a Gardening Podcast · host Saul Walker and Lucy Chamberlain

As the Coronovirus pandemic has changed many aspects of life over the past many months, the gardens and green spaces all across the UK have continued in full glory over the spring - but Summer has arrived and for many the outdoors is the sanctuary from the continued uncertainty of what lies ahead. Head Gardeners Saul and Lucy have still been full at work at Stonelands and Easy Donyland (as well as their own gardens) and continue to share their lives as professional horticulturists, there tips and tricks and their observations of their gardening lives.Saul's personal plant collection numbers the many hundreds most of which are grown in pots, Lucy also has many dwarfing fruit trees in pots and using containers all over East Donyland. One of the most common questions we get asked when we do our advice clinics is what is wrong with my plant in this pot, or how do we grow trees and shrubs successfully in a pot. Well we thought we'd dedicate an episode to explain what to consider when using containers, especially the long-term maintenance and health of pot grown plants. Twitter links:Saul @GardeningSaulLucy @HeadGardenerLCIntro and Outro music from https://filmmusic.io"Fireflies and Stardust" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com)License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)Support the show
