Ep 321: Interview w/Karen Fields from “Sleepaway Camp”
from Happy Horror Time Hosted by Tim Murdock & Matt Emert
As Judy in “Sleepaway Camp,” Karen Fields played one of the most memorable mean girls in ‘80s horror — with a side ponytail, a pink shirt with her name on it, and a scowl that intimidated even the counselors. Tune in to hear all about making this iconic summer camp slasher, what it was like filming her notorious death scene via curling iron (and whether Judy’s story really ended there), and why the film resonates with her on an entirely different level today.
