After experiencing clergy sexual abuse at age 16 by her youth pastor and remaining silent for 27 years, she now uses her voice to advocate for victims and changes in the church. She has spoken before the Ohio Senate and a Maryland court. She serves on the board of COCA -Council on Child Abuse, is a spokesperson the Hope of Survivors Ministry.
