Ep. 328: Borrowed Nostalgia

This week, it’s just Sean and Pierce, and they’re talking about Stranger Things and the phenomenon of borrowed nostalgia. What’s different about this show as opposed to other prestige-TV period pieces like Mad Men or The Americans? And why doesn’t Sean like the Kate Bush song as much as everyone else? NOTE: This episode was recorded before the release of the Stranger Things season 4 finale release, but after we had watched the previous S4 episodes. There’s not much in the way of spoiler-type stuff, but keep that in mind — if you’ve been saving Season 4 to watch until you could binge the whole thing, maybe wait until you’re done to listen?
