She’s performed in various musicals, including Sweet Soul Music singing Aretha Franklin’s greatest hits, starring as Sadie Fagin, Billie Holiday’s mother in The Billie Holiday Story and playing Mama Morton in the Broadway Production of Chicago on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. On TV and film she’s been in The Take with Idris Elba, Angel Has Fallen with Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman, Greatest Days, the film of the Take That musical, The musical film of Cinderella, Doctors, Almas Not Normal, Eastenders, Silent Witness and Beautiful People. She’s appeared on X factor, Stars In Their Eyes as Chaka Khan and on Britain’s Got Talent in 2022.
