She was schooled in natural skin care methods by her mother and sisters from an early age, and after attending an ayurvedic college, she became a skin care educator at Pivot Point Academy in Chennai. For five years she trained legions of young estheticians, fueling the booming day spa industry in India. Farida migrated to New York in 2011 and graduated from Dermalogica Academy two years later.   Farida was recruited by the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa and promoted within one year to the skin care division lead position and certified as a Red Door Educator.
