In this episode I share with you all of the dos and don'ts that I PERSONALLY find helpful or not when others are reaching out to support me. As we honor SA Awareness Month (SAAM), it is important to educate ourselves in the ways that we can support survivors. The things shared aren't clinical or professional resources/advice but my own personal experiences, feelings, and beliefs based off of being a CSA victim myself. I've navigated and journeyed with my trauma for over a decade now so I'd say I have a pretty good insight on what's helpful and what's triggering.
