Ep. 34 - Amplifying, Celebrating, Encouraging

from Highly Visible & A Little Misunderstood · host Jonathan Dumas

This week I am joined by Crystal Ellington. Crystal is a recently retired military veteran and the current Director of Communications for Minority Veterans of America (MVA), an organization with a mission to create belonging and advance equity for minority veterans. Crystal is passionate about speaking up for those who have historically been disenfranchised, systemically excluded, and institutionally oppressed. She leverages her service to her country to ensure that those that have served, and those still serving, have a voice and a safe space. We spend some time talking about her role at MVA and what it means to advocate in your position, how lit Black LinkedIn is, and why Black folks need to celebrate more and continue to encourage one another.   Stay in Touch with: ↳ Crystal Ellington on LinkedIn ↳ Crystal Ellington on IG   CLICK TO TAKE THE PODCAST SURVEY   Ways to support the show:    👉🏾  Support RTWD Monthly    👉🏾  Support us one-time    👉🏾  Follow us on IG @RTWDPodcast To Learn more about CommonCulture CC:    👉🏾  Check us out!
