Dr. Christopher R. Banks is presently the Director of the International Relations B.A. Program at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Dr. Banks holds an Honors Bachelors of Arts degree in International Relations from Brown University, a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, and DPhil studies in Politics at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. Dr. Banks’ professional experiences have included work on the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, Department of Defense Stabilization Capabilities and Afghan Police Reform at the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO), assisting the U.S. Congressional and United Nations liaison offices of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and has completed analytical and volunteer work with several business and think tank organizations including the Washington Institute on Near East Policy and the Corporate Council on Africa. Dr. Banks is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland and has happily resided in Lincoln since 2015.
