Ep.34 “DJ Respect Afrika & Manager NuNo” the man behind the mask.

This week we sit down with DJ Respect Afrika & his Manager NuNo , the Cape Verde born, Manchester-based Afro House DJ known for taking his music beyond the clubs and turning ordinary streets into huge, spontaneous dance. His sound blends Afro House, Afro Tech, tribal percussion and African influences, with a message centred around connection, unity and bringing people together. We talk all things about his early life growing up in Cape Verde & his journey across Europe building a following in Portugal before moving to Manchester where him and his team are bringing the best Afro house events to the city and further a field. We get to see who the man is behind his iconic mask & an insight on the streets of Manchesters night life through his eyes.
