George is the author of five chapbooks, most recently the collaborative ekphrastic Frame and Mount the Sky, and three collections from Dos Madres Press: Swim Your Way Back (2014), A Map and One Year (2018), and Where Wind Tastes Like Pears (2021). She's been nominated for Pushcart Prizes and won Slippery Elm’s 2022 poetry contest. Her short story collection, How We Fracture, which won the Rosemary Daniell Fiction Prize, is forthcoming from Minerva Rising Press in Fall 2023. Her poetry appears in Tipton Poetry Journal, Indianapolis Review, Valparaiso Poetry Review, Ekphrastic Poetry Review, Sheila-Na-Gig, Cultural Daily, and Poet Lore. Her website is linked here.
