Ep. 34: Lindz Amer & the Integration of Our Fullness into Our Work and Life

from Second Adolescence · host Adam James Cohen

This week's guest is Lindz Amer (they/them). As some of you may know, they are the founder and creator of Queer Kid Stuff, an entertainment company that brings LGBTQ+ and social justice media to kids and families. They also currently host of the queer and gender affirming parenting podcast, Rainbow Parenting. Their book, Rainbow Parenting: Your Guide to Raising Queer Kids and Their Allies, publishes on May 30, 2023. I have been a personal fan of Lindz and their work for several years. They have done to support changing the landscape for queer youth and their parents, and so it was just so special to get to have them on to share about both their work and their own personal journey. Lindz was so generous with how much they let us into their own story and the not always easy behind the scenes of the work they are doing in the world. About the guest:Lindz Amer creates LGBTQ+ and intersectional social justice media for kids and families. They created their beloved LGBTQ+ family webseries Queer Kid Stuff in 2016 which now has 4M lifetime views and counting! Sir Max Hastings wrote in the Sunday Times, in a review of Laurence Rees' 'World War Two: Behi Wisdom's Proof JesusLifeTogether In a world of religion, ritual, hierarchy, control, money, marketing, and more flavors than 10,000 Baskin Robbins — how can we know what is Right and True? Some just give up. Bad move. JESUS LIVES and REIGNS! Some simply "go along to get along" to conform to culture and biological family. Really bad move, unless you are a lemming and don't care about the destiny someone else has chosen for you. But then JESUS, knowing this day would come, said, "By their fruit you shall know them" and "Wisdom is PROVED RIGHT by all her CHILDREN." Luke 7:35 Find some random offspring from whatever you wish you knew more about, look carefully at the second generation, and see if the gates of Hell are prevailing — as they would in a "mere words" and "mere ceremonies" attendance-based religious organization. OR, is satan getting busted in the mouth by that second generation? What is the fruit and the quality of LIVES of the children - once they can make their own choices? Then you'll Know. Wisdom is PROVED The Heartland Patriot Heartland Patriot Welcome, I am a Husband, Father and Patriot. I believe in Free Speech, and the second amendment. Help me expose the lies, tell the truth and take a stand for our Country. Zero Brakes Allowed Its-all-here I’m on go — no brakes, no doubt, Every second lit like a knockout bout. Midnight hustle, sun-up grind, No map for this — I blaze my line. Zone locked in, no outside noise, This is grown-man game, not toys. Break the system, flip that code, Heart on fire — ZERO BRAKE MODE. I move fast, with soul and sound, Turn dark days into battlegrounds. This is life with no fear allowed, Watch me rise — stand back, stay proud.
