Ep. 34 - Mikey Taylor - Former professional Skateboarder / business owner / Speaker / Author / Husband and Father

Mikey Taylor, former professional skateboarder, is now a successful entrepreneur and real estate investor. He is currently the President and Managing Principle of Commune Capital, a private equity investment firm.⁣ However, his original passion was skateboarding. With nearly two decades of professional skateboarding, Mikey landed lucrative sponsorship deals with major well-known brands. During his career, he had over 100 signature skateboard decks, 7 pro model shoes and was one of the most recognizable pro skateboarders in the world. However, once his skateboarding career ended, he knew he had to find a new passion and was building his own company.⁣ ⁣He co-founded Archer Brewing Company which ultimately lead to a multi-million dollar purchase by MillerCoors Company in 2015. Since that time, he has co-founded several other companies including Commune Capital. Mikey and his wife, Jen, have three kids; two young daughters and a brand new baby boy. He has been soaking up every minute with his a kids.⁣ ⁣  A big kid at heart himself, he loves enjoy playing with this kids and is looking forward to raising his first boy.
