Today I’m joined by my buddy Dan Tutor. Dan hunts the islands off the coast of Maine. I’ve always had an interest in island hunting but two things that held me back was …water access via the sea/bay (seems dicey and borderline stupid for someone who didn’t grow up around the ocean) and giving up a mid west hunt to hunt the north east where they’re not known for great whitetail hunting (compared to the midwest). Well…I still may not have my sea legs, but Dan has hauled in a few deer that put to rest any concerns of the caliber of bucks you can find on the islands.
