Significant rain in Oct and Dec brought relief from drought and created abundant waterfowl habitat. While good for birds, hunting success was mixed, with a feeling that neither birds nor hunters could find their normal “rhythm.” We now hope for more rain and mountain snow to improve breeding conditions.
