Today we have the ultimate example of one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Michael Collins loved his country, Ireland, with a burning passion and wanted to see it free from English rule. So he went to work with both a rifle and a pen and fought to make that happen. Making him a hero to a lot of people. Of course, no Englishman looks at any member of the IRA, let alone a significant one such as him, and thinks "There goes my hero."
