Ski passes can be cheap.... in Arizona if you book now.Remember that some of the multi-resort passes are cheaper as there are some days you can't use them. The firemen had a fire to deal with in a chalet in Megève, which reminded us of the chalet that was badly burnt in Petit Alaska. The firemen later gave the chalet company owner a calendar, with a photo of the blazing chalet.A runner was bitten by a protection dog. Best to avoid these dogs that are protecting sheep from wolves. If you meet one, stay calm and keep your own dog on a short lead. There is an interactive map to help you plan your way around them.
