Ep 36 - Twilight

For millennials, there is not much more of a triggering question than, "Team Edward or Team Jacob?" and it's the one we are asking ourselves this week on Save the Last Pod! Round up all your Twi-Hard friends and family, we are flying up the trees of the Pacific Northwest to get into the Kristen Stewart, Edward Cullen Vampire Fantasy Romance that started a mega-franchise and was even featured on Burger King crowns everywhere. It's TWILIGHT! Let's go! In this episode, Amy and Dan debate why the vegetarian, baseball-swinging, glow-in-the-sunlight vampires, the Cullen family, still go to High School after one hundred and eight years. They reminisce on what it was like getting asked to prom, and wonder - what is going on with Taylor Lautner's wig? Amy and Dan go down the rabbit hole of cinema's favorite seductive character, the vampire film, but don't worry there is enough to go around about this coded film about celibacy, desire, and human pheromones.
