Henrique Couto begins with mysteries inside his own house. An electrician has added weather-protected outdoor outlets, repurposed a kitchen switch that seemed to control nothing and connected a dining-room light that previously required a remote-control bulb. A second mystery switch remains unsolved, as does Henrique’s amazement that the work appeared to happen without shutting off a breaker.
