The piece hounds aka the monsters are let loose, but it turns out they are not as smart as we first assumed. They are hunting the elves, but the elves manage to escape, even the two elves left behind to distract the hounds manage to survive. After Two-Edge's last game failed he created a new one. He really is the mastermind, but what is his endgame? Is he on anyone's side? Or is he again playing his own game for his own amusement? At least Venka is safe and healing, and Rayekis looking for her. Two-Edge has really created a labyrinth. We see a tower, within a tower within a tower, which means he has a lot of space to cover to find Venka.
