I say off the bat that I've never read her novels, but in reading tributes by several people, it makes me want to read for myself and gain my own perspective on the legacy she has left.In Film/TV: (30:44) Ofcom have released a report showing just how much of a blow Streaming services like Netflix are dealing to Traditional TV. Along with the younger demographics flocking to entertainment alternatives such as YouTube. Places like the BBC & ITV are making moves to combat this, but they may be already too late. In Music: (43:56) Black Country Music stars like Lil Nas X & Blanco Brown are making headlines in the US with their non-traditional style, bringing up concerns of cultural appropriation. But is it really? My answer probably won't shock you...Lastly, in the 2nd Life segment: (53:00) I always wonder, in the stupid & self-destructive time the UK is currently in right now politically, how are other countries reacting?
