Ep: 370 – Onward and Upward – Detroit Lions Podcast

Well, that just happened. The Detroit Lions went to SoFi Stadium to play the Los Angeles Rams and played their hearts out in a game that was much closer than the score would reveal. Chris was there and will report on all things SoFi Stadium and the Lions Rams experience. Detroit Lions Podcast Was There The team came close. In a game in which they were 16.5 point underdogs, the Detroit Lions succumbed to the Rams late after Matthew Stafford absolutely abused CB Daryl Worley when he stepped in for an injured AJ Parker. That being said, they beat the heck out of the point spread. Worley’s performance was so bad, that he’s already been cut. Its not unexpected, when you are already working in 4th and 5th string players to cover for injuries, eventually you’re going to hit the talent cliff. That’s what happened with Worley. A valiant effort by the Lions who are still looking for their first win after meeting the LA Rams. That said, their best chance of the season for a win so far comes this week when the Detroit Lions play host to the Philadelphia Eagles. Expectations amongst fans are high for the Lions to return to the same form they showed in Los Angeles which should be enough to clip the Philadelphia Eagles wings.
