I was raised in Yakima, WA on a fruit farm where my parents grew apples, pears, and cherries. Hence “apples of my eye.” 😊 I’ve been in the convenience store business for 36 years! I started with 7-Eleven (Sherman was my trainer). I worked there for 15 years. Then Sherman recruited me to Nestle Wasters NA and I worked there for 14 years. I’m currently employed with Ferrara, and it will be 7 years in June. All my careers have been in the Pacific Northwest and West coast (fondly known as God’s country!) 😊. I have two grown children, Derek (wife Hannah) and daughter Carly; and two grandsons, Connor (Carly’s) will be 8 in July and Everett (Derek’s) will be 6 months old next week. They are the apples of my eye!
