from The Rebel Base Card Podcast · host Greg McLaughlin

Held at Washington Community High School Saturday, January 11th., S.T.E.A.M. into Star Wars Day celebrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math, wrapped in a Star Wars theme. Local artists, authors, podcasters as well as members of the 501st Midwest Garrison, Rebel Legion and Mandalorian Mercs were on hand. The event looked to be one of the largest attended that they had held. Tom Gross and Dan Zehr, part of the WCHS staff as well as the Coffee with Kenobi podcast and all the WCHS Students, faculty and volunteers on hand put on a terrific show that felt as much like a Convention as you could, but never losing sight of being family and community centric. The event ran from 9:30-1pm.
