Her story stretches back to childhood on a quiet Texas barrier island, where early moments of fear and confusion would later take on a different meaning. At 19, during a summer night outside Round Rock, Texas, Paulette and several friends witnessed a disc-shaped object descend from the sky, zigzag across the horizon, and land behind a barn.
