Originally hailing from Harlem, this Kansas City, Missouri native earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication at the University of Central Missouri. During her last year in college, she landed her first paid gig hosting, co-writing and co-producing Gospel Revolutions, a Christian entertainment show that aired in the Kansas City area. Taking after her father who was a notable radio personality, she has several years of on-air radio experience with stations such as 90.1 KKFI, 107.9 The Fountain, and Praise 95.3. She has interviewed notable celebrities, politicians and community leaders on a local and national level. She has worked as a correspondent working the red carpet at award shows and the Media room. Additionally, she now does Media Coaching & Training for those aspiring to become TV hosts and media personalities. In her spare time, Monique enjoys acting, singing, devouring a good Jamaican dish and taking on new travel adventures with her husband.
