Setting The Tone is pleased to announce Octopus Montage and their brand new track Right here with me (out now) About the band Octopus Montage are a 4 piece from Blackpool Dec Naylor - Vocals/Guitar Alex Jennings - Vocals/Guitar Davina Naylor - Bass Cain Dylan – Drums following the storming success of their previous single ''Grow Up', The pop punk outfit OCTOPUS MONTAGE have just unveiled their latest single 'RIGHT HERE WITH YOU'. If there was ever such a thing as a ‘Pop-Punk ballad’ then this is Octopus Montage’s hat in the ring. Written by Dec Naylor (Vocals/Guitar), the song focuses on a long-distance relationship and the emotional effects that this can have on an individual. The song is somewhat fictional but has elements of past experiences and points out the reality of some relationships. Despite not being based fully on a true story, ‘Right Here With Me’ continues to prove that Octopus Montage are dedicated to writing songs that resonate with people's real life situations. Right Here With Me is the second track to be taken from their new album, 'How To Live And How To Lose' which is being released in early 2021, Check out Right here with me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lulb4PfAbM&feature=youtu.be Band links https://octopusmontage.bigcartel.com/ https://www.facebook.com/octopusmontage https://www.instagram.com/octopusmontage/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHoJsoQOvpNq_7A-DUDkx4w Purchase Right here with me from the below links https://music.apple.com/us/album/right-here-with-me/1534222008?i=1534222009&uo=4&ct=octopusmontage_rightherewithme&itscg=30200&itsct=music_box&app=music&ls=1&at=1001lLfx https://open.spotify.com/track/3bhzZuKbeKvMAqVHZqeZAC?si=aHmegCr1SXKonGBIsxUr-A https://www.amazon.co.uk/Right-Here-With-Me/dp/B08KPPM4QL/ref=as_li_ss_tl?dchild=1&keywords=octopus+montage+right+here+with+me&qid=1602844181&sr=8-1&linkCode=sl1&tag=dreamle-21&linkId=869016d4e1037ce2fcf81fe6a92f3684&language=en_GB My thoughts I love my pop punk genre from the Godfathers like Blink 182, Green day, Simple Plan, New Found Glory, Bowling for Soup to the new generation of the genre in A day to remember. My only criticism of the track is And this could just be me, But I felt the mix on the vocals to the rest of the band is horribly off, I felt the vocals are louder than the guitars and the drums. Now this could be intentional and that’s cool. Anyways what I really love is this is a band that are importing Pop punk from the states and are not trying to be American with it there are just doing them and that’s awesome, if you love your pop punk then add Octopus montage to your playlist You can find this episode and previous episode in the below links Spotfiy https://open.spotify.com/show/6Jj9SsrXxve44839dptihN… Apple https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/setting-the-tone/id1499390718 Google https://podcasts.google.com/?q=setting%20the%20tone podbean https://Settingthetone2.podbean.com Thank you to Nik at Rage PR
