Mender is still badly wounded, but Flam is not a light-hearted troll and has a rough way of shoving love. He slaps Mender awake so he can heal himself. Shuna's dad has noticed she is leading the rebellion. What will the Djun do to him if he finds this out? Venka needs to talk to her father and make a deal with the Djun. A deal Two-Edge is not happy about.  One by one, the troops arrive at the entrance to the Citadel. The piece-hounds are right behind them, and they manage to catch up with them before entering the Citadel.
