Can he simultaneously be love and wrath, mercy and justice, and yet retain his absolute oneness? In this episode, the Curious team will be reflecting on the theological position of God’s simplicity. What it means to understand that God is not a God of parts! They’ll be unpacking the historical opponents of Socinianism and Marcionism, and reflecting on Augustine who declared that God himself was not, “one thing, and what He is and has another thing”.
