Ep 39 : Thibaut Vauchel-Camus (Solidaires en Peloton) - Naviguer pour la solidarité

« On ne fait rien tout seul, il n’y a pas plus accompagné qu’un solitaire »  Prêt à larguer les amarres ? Aujourd'hui, Sophie et Paul nous embarquent aux côtés de Thibaut Vauchel-Camus, ce skipper qui a décidé de mettre sa passion au service d’un projet solidaire et humain.  De concurrents à compagnon de projet, Thibaut et Victorien Erussard ont été sensibles aux difficultés quotidiennes vécues par les personnes atteintes de la sclérose en plaques, et c’est alors qu’est née le projet « Défi Voile Solidaires en Peloton ».  Ils ont ensemble décidé d'affronter les vagues tout en sensibilisant et récoltant des fonds pour la fondation ARSEP depuis plus de 10 ans maintenant. Car la sclérose en plaques, ce sont 2,8 millions de personnes atteintes dans le monde, 110 000 en France, et plus des 2/3 sont des femmes.  Thibaut a grandi en Guadeloupe, Malouin d'adoption, la course de la Route du Rhum semble être faite pour lui. Il a commencé en tant que spectateur, puis remplaçant, commentateur et finalement, il a pris part à la course en 2014. Mais en 2022, pour sa 3ème participation, tout ne s'est pas passé comme prévu...
