Ep: #393 Change is the ending of one Phase

The holiday is not always an easy or happy time. The day can be very lonely, especially if it's your first holiday without a loved one. Our son recently moved to Texas, and this will be our first time without him for the holiday.  I'm struggling, I won't sugarcoat it. I find comfort in the fact that he is alive and well, but his absence is strongly felt. It does, at times, feel like a death because, in a way it is. It is a change, the change of our family dynamic and the way we have always known it to be. Change is the ending of one phase and the beginning of another. Through the discomfort, you can find solace in the purpose this suffering is creating. In each moment of sorrow, we can celebrate the gift it gives us to go deeper into our soul as the seedling is planted for new possibilities of spiritual growth.
