After a short break, Nate is back with an update on some future projects and appearances before sitting down with his guest, Jefferson Berry. Jefferson talks about growing up, the Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, the music on the west coast in 1967, getting into the radio industry, moving back to the east coast, starting at WYSP and the early days of the Howard Stern show, bringing Crazy Eddie into the Philly market, writing music, the art of storytelling in songwriting, getting out of the radio business and becoming a teacher in the inner city, starting the band Hippies and Hillbillies and the birth of his Urban Acoustic sound, the influence of teaching on his songwriting, having Symere Woods in his class (who would go on to become Lil Uzi Vert), the tragic death of Runup Rico, losing students to gun violence, the deep poverty issues in Philadelphia, his song "Locks and Guns," putting together the Urban Acoustic Coalition and recording his music, recording Prairie Fire and Dreams of Modern Living concurrently, working with Emily Drinker and Irene Lambrou, the album release show at the Living Room in Ardmore, and the upcoming the Urban Acoustic movie.
