Ep. 4: Carly Risque Jepsen

This is InTune. A music appreciation podcast. The idea is simple: InTune wants to celebrate new album releases. Each host must choose a new album from within a 30-31 day window to delve deep into, and we will discuss/critique it for the podcast. There are no genre restrictions. Just music that has captured our attention. Unfortunately our regular host, Andrew was a little tied up with school but we got ourselves a very special guest! Graeme Houssin, a local music writer and all-around creative came in to talk with the gang about Ariana Grande's new song, Vince Staples, and the trouble with making a playlist. Here are the records we discussed in this episode: Graeme - Bottle It In by Kurt Vile Aidan - Boygenius by Boygenius Jagan - The Ugly Art by Machine Girl Other discussed topics, with links: Thank U, Next by Ariana Grande FM! by Vince Staples The Courtney Barnett x Kurt Vile collab album Lotta Sea Lice The New York Times article interviewing Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers & Lucy Dacus The first (and hopefully more to come) Jet Set Radio Remixes compilation 🎨 by Johnnie DG 🎼 by Seyeon Jung
