This week in the Huddle, Self-made chef and Boss Mom Bryoni Prentice stopped by to share her story and how she manages the many hats she wears and staying the course with her passion!Bryoni Cambre’ Prentice is an esteemed chef, wife, and mother to 3 beautiful girls. Bryoni founded Bryoni Catering in 2019 after realizing her passion for food needed to be shared. She was inspired by her Cajun roots and had a burning desire to spread the love and joy of New Orleans culture through cuisine. It all began in her grandmother’s kitchen, but she expanded those skills and became a culinary arts instructor in 2008. It took years before Bryoni recognized the gift bestowed upon her since childhood. Her bright and bubbly personality transfers to every dish and dessert she has ever crafted. After 15 years of marriage and raising three daughters, she now spends most of her time juggling kids’ activities, date nights, and her catering career. She enjoys connecting and collaborating with people in and out of the kitchen. Because that’s “just the New Orleans way.” Many have recognized her, but her most notable appearances include the Food Network where she won the Halloween Cookie Challenge competition in 2022. She was chosen amongst 10k bakers from all over the country. Bryoni now resides in Atlanta, Georgia and she continues to share her Cajun cuisine with people in the metropolitan area.
