Ep. 4: Lo-fi Hip Hop & Vibes? How to Get Through Quarantine Sort Of…

from A General Good Time · host Lena Truong

This week we will take a journey I’m sure you all may be quite familiar with… the world of lo-fi hip hop: beats to study/sleep/chill/relax to. I found myself, like every other individual, who has ever dealt with any mode of procrastination stumbling upon YouTube looking for a way out only to find solace in a random accidental suggested video with seemingly random ambient yet calming instrumentals followed by a ‘vintage’ Charlie Brown audio snippet… this might have been a specific experience I am recalling but I hope today’s episode is a universal one to love as this is my ode to lo-fi hip hop. Cover Art: Created w/ Pic Crew Background Music: Walking Shoes via Anchor by Spotify Sources: Will Smith: "chill beats to quarantine to" via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA56B4JyTgI.
