Ep 40 - Brats
from Save the Last Pod Hosted by Pink Among Men
This week on Save the Last Pod, we detour the teen movie-watching experience to the art of documentary filmmaking and discuss the newly released feature film from 1980's teen centerpiece, Andrew McCarthy. A documentary so historical, so thought-provoking it can only be about one thing - the founding teens of teen movies - Emilio! Rob! Judd! Tom! Molly! Ally! Demi! It's BRATS! The Brat Pack Documentary. Let's go!! Amy and Dan delve into Hollywood's generations of teen and young heartthrob factions in this episode. They draw a fascinating line from the Brat Pack to the P-Posse, the Glee Teens, and the newly minted Rat Men. Plus! What they think was missing from the Brat Pack documentary and the ultimate question of them all - who is actually a member of the Brat Pack? Are you enjoying what you're hearing? Your thoughts are not just important, they're crucial to us. Please take a moment to leave us a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, GoodPods, or your preferred platform.
