Ep 40 - Changing the color of a liquid crystal that took 100 years to prove its existence!

In today's lit update, we are discussing the recently discovered "Ferroelectric Nematic Liquid Crystals" and in this work, the researchers have uncovered ways for types of these chiral liquid crystals to change colors with the use of an electric field!
