Ep. 40 – Christopher & Eric’s True Crime TV Club Serves Up “American Nightmare: Paradise Lost”

A terrible storm. A gorgeous couple poised to begin an exciting new life. Enough real crime scene video to give you the creeps. And then some more crime scene video on top of that. In their dark salute to hurricane season, Christopher and Eric serve up Season 1, Episode 3 of AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, entitled "Paradise Lost".  When Mike and Missy MacIvor are found brutally murdered in their new home in the Florida Keys, the blood trails seem to lead to past lovers. And possibly their neighbors. Or maybe drug smugglers? The case drags on for a year and Christopher and Eric have some questions about the stunning recollection that solves it. But perhaps the more important question is, how much is too much real crime scene video? (If this episode sounds different from our others, that's because it was recorded remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
