EP 40 Devil In The Details The Hell You Wanted Album Review

from Setting The Tone · host Setting the tone podcast

New episode out now.   Pleased to announce Devil in the Details and their new album The Hell You Wanted due for release 30 October 2020     About the band Formed in 2013, Devil in the Details are a five piece progressive, post-hardcore band from Omaha, NE out to connect with people through music. The name Devil in the Details is a reminder not to take everything at face value. Things aren't always as they seem   SeanThomas (Vocals) AaronKoenig (Guitar) MattLund (Drums) DannyCasteel (Guitar) Dylan Lutterll (Bass) Band links https://devilinthedetailsband.com https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGlhywxKOTk3AKZtq0OaZEQ/featured https://open.spotify.com/artist/1BHtEJ6LTp3dilQE7JzhtP https://www.instagram.com/devilinthedetailsofficial/ www.facebook.com/devilinthedetailsband https://twitter.com/DITD_Band     My thoughts  It’s always nice when you are caught off guard by something and you can come away from it with excitement and sheer joy in what you have witnessed and I am pleased to say that exactly what’s happened with devil in the details, their upcoming album The Hell You Wanted does just that.   I was handed this album to listen to by a friend of mine from my town and knowing his musical taste can be a bit more on the heavier side then mine I was sceptical about this listening to this album if I would truly enjoy it, I did not just enjoy it I loved it the album offers a perfect blend of melodic sounds as well as crossing over to slightly heavier tones. This is an album for fans of Bring me the horizon and Architects. Personally. I think this album sounds like its already ahead of the latest work from the bands I have mentioned, it’s an album park with melodic hooks and crushing guitars. This really is an album that is a late comer in this year list, but this will easily squeeze its way onto your 2020 playlist a huge favourite of Setting The Tone.   All the best guys with the release hopefully see you on UK soil soon.       You can find this episode and previous episode in the below links Spotfiy https://open.spotify.com/show/6Jj9SsrXxve44839dptihN… Apple https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/setting-the-tone/id1499390718 Google https://podcasts.google.com/?q=setting%20the%20tone podbean https://Settingthetone2.podbean.com
