EP #40: How to Talk With College Coaches When You're Not Sure What to Say

Being face-to-face with a college coach, or having a phone conversation, can make a high school student-athlete tremble. In this episode, recruiting expert Jon Fugler helps athletes and parents maximize their conversations with college coaches. This is an opportunity for the athlete to put himself or herself in the best light with a coach who is recruiting them.  Jon shares three things that will help that conversation in a big way. If an athlete can present him or herself in a positive way, that will set him or her apart from other athletes.  Of course, talent has to be there, but coaches recruit beyond talent, too.  They look for character and attitude.  This can come out in a conversation.
