Ep. 40: The Last Blockbuster

Original Publish Date: April 21, 2022 We like to think of this documentary and podcast episode as more of a history lesson of sorts for younger Millennials and Gen Z.  They will never know the pain of loitering around the return bin in the hopes of catching the latest VHS release of certain big screen hits nor will they ever experience the smell of a brand new Blockbuster in their towns.  They will never have the privilege of signing up for their own card when they come of age.  And they will never have to worry about late fees.   But not us old folks.  We experienced it all.  And this wonderful documentary brings up all the right memories and makes you long for the most fun part of your week:  renting a movie over the weekend.   You'll hear us reminisce about those days and we also sometimes get a little sidetracked.  --like we always do.  We can't help it.  Sorry not sorry.
