He has over 10 years of experience in the field and is certified by the American College of Surgeons and the American Hepatopancreatobiliary Association.In “The Loyal Physician” by Grifin Trotter, Dr Trotter challenges physicians to find meaning in being a physician outside of the confusion of the US health care system’s failures. Loyalty, as Trotter defines it, is the “willing and practical and thoroughgoing devotion of a person to a cause”. Dr. Lowe believes that devotion to high quality and compassionate medical care within the US corporate medical environment is promoted when its physicians have financial independence.Dr. Lowe is a site reviewer for the Commission on Cancer, a role that allows him to evaluate and improve the quality of cancer care across the country. He is passionate about translational research and has received an Emerging Investigator Award for his work on pancreatic cancer. In addition, he is a veteran who has served four times as a trauma surgeon in Afghanistan, saving the lives of American and ally soldiers.Dr. Lowe purchased his first rental property in 2014 and since has converted a significant portion of his wealth to passive and active real estate investments.
