For most of us, tooth whitening has become a fairly easy and routine procedure.. and on top of that, it's one that is rewarding and profitable. Nevertheless, new systems continue to be introduced into the marketplace and that has us asking ourselves "Should I be doing chair side whitening or perhaps shift my patients to using take-home bleaching systems? Will I get better results by using both? Do the over-the-counter whitening products work, and if so, how do I incorporate them into my clinical practice? To help us answer some of these questions is our guest, Dr. Gerard Kugel. Dr. Kugel is an associate dean for research, has published over 120 articles and over 300 abstracts in the field of restorative materials and techniques. He lectures both nationally and internationally and is part of a group practice, the Trinity Dental Center, located in Back Bay, Boston.
