Ep 41: Book Review of Sky Dance: Fighting for the wild in the scottish highlands by John D Burns

Hey ecofictologists and welcome to episode 41 of the Ecofictology podcast! This Minisode Monday I am beyond excited to review SkyDance: Fighting for the Wild in the Scottish Highlands by John D Burns. This is a hilarious book that still conveys important messages about land management in Scotland, human wildlife conflicts surrounding the grouse hunting industry, and the push to rewild the highlands, starting with the reintroduction of the lynx.  Since I live in Scotland and spend time in the Highlands, I was immediately drawn to this book and was not disappointed! Loved it, highly recommend! I’m bringing you this short episode now so that on Wednesday when i invite John onto the show for an interview, you all have the context and know what I thought of the book. We have a wonderful chat, he’s a very funny man, so check back in for that on Wednesday.
