Ep. 41 - Higher Education and the Battle for Your Soul

In this episode of Chasing the Kingdom, I talk to John Duryea about his experience teaching. Along the way, we talk about the state of higher education and where we think it’s going. About John Duryea: John has a master’s degree in public policy from Regent University and a doctorate degree in educational leadership from the University of Central Florida.  While there, he was a director of one of the university’s satellite campuses and adult continuing education programs. He was the Dean of Technology programs at DeVry University and Executive Director of a multi-million dollar, National Science Foundation grant for Valencia College. He is an adjunct professor at both Liberty University and Palm Beach Atlantic University. John has been a Christian since the age of 27 and will be celebrating his 42nd wedding anniversary with his wife Carol. Together they have two sons and five grandchildren and have co-written two illustrated children’s books. John has served as a church deacon and guest speaker at churches in New York and Florida.
