Localworks is a partner with the city, our local businesses, and residents to advance Wheat Ridge as a vibrant and sustainable community. We offer programs and events to help people connect, volunteer, and create. These programs include TLC Clean Up Days, block party grants, dumpster grants, business corridor events, civic engagement opportunities such as WR 101 and WR 102, Explore Wheat Ridge interactive app with FactorEarth, and most recently, the development of Clear Creek Makerspace. Founded by City officials and staff in 2005, our non-profit organization has become a force for change, repositioning Wheat Ridge as a vibrant, respected and sought after community.
