EP 41 - Venom's Silly Little Prank
JUST A FUNNY LITTLE ALIEN INVASION PRANK ON NEW YORK! CLASSIC VENOM! In the wake of Spider-Man 3 (the movie AND the game, but in this instance the game) being less-than-stellar, Activision quickly ordered a new game that would ultimately attempt to make up for their previous entry's failings. What resulted was a very ambitious, divisive, and uncharacteristically moody game that has become something of a cult classic from the seventh generation that sees the titular character battling Venom and his own inner demons as he and the city of New York get swept up in a symbiote infection and invasion. So, after all these years, what do the boys think of it when looking back? Tune in and find out as Alec and Brian talk Spider-Man: Web of Shadows!
